Ok, just installed BitDefender Internet Security 2009, and its logo in Windows Live Messenger is bothering me. I assume it'd look ok on the default light background, but mine is black, so it looks like this:
![]() Now, I'd like to know if anyone knows of a way to remove it. The only reference to it I found when I was searching on Google, and it was the exact same issue, posted on the BD forums, and no one replied to his issue, go figure. Thanks in advance guys, I don't know where else to go with this =/.

Dont use Windows Messenger myself, but maybe there is a utility to remove ads from it. I used to use a little proggy called Noads.exe to keep ads from Yahoo's messenger.
Just did a quick search and found This No idea if it works or is recommended. But it says you can disable ads using it. Research it. Might be complete junk. |

You could search through the Registry and manually remove. Go to Regedit, HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWSLIVEMESSENGER/ Check through the subkeys for anything like LOGOS see if they have Bitdefender
same with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWSLIVEMESSENGER, again look for subkeys that say something like LOGOS and bitdefender Could also look through Bitdefender keys, so same reg as above but Bitdefender instead of WINDOWS, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/BITDEFENDER Back-up any keys you remove ... click File, then Export, whichever key you think it could be. |

The registry doesn't seem to have anything in it either, thanks for the help though, guess I'll just have to look for a new security suite XD.
