Default DAMNIT AVIRA pop up. How do I get rid of it?

Everytime I game aviras pop up comes up and makes my game minimize and I get shot. How do I stop that BS pop up from coming up?

System: Operation Thunderhead Rev 3.1.

AMD Phenom II 965 C3.
Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P AM3.
Memory
2x2gig OCZ AM3 Edition DDR3-1600.
Graphics Card
Sapphire HD5770.

since you have vista it's easy. go to the install directory and right click on avnotify and select properties. then click on the security tab and and click edit. finally check Read and Execute in the deny column.

there is a regedit that you can do for xp, but i haven't been able to find it.

Beat 2mb of mem and 0% cpu usage in nod32 2.7. Only $30 for a year but you can use trials and other things... Never got a virus or have had a slow system with it. No bloatware included, not annoying popups, etc...
