Hey does anyone know any good software that can optimize my internet connection I feel like I'm not getting what I'm paying for which isn't much. Or any advice to improve my speeds will be greatly appreciated

This doesn't, can't exist.

TCP optimization software does exist. Problem is, they rarely provide much of a benefit if at all.

yea exactly I keep trying and nothing happens sometimes my speeds get even slower. I was hoping there was a way to tweak something to increase speed. I use FlashGet as a download manager, what are some good accelerators

It's your ISP/ISP package that needs changing, you can't create extra bandwidth out of nowhere. There's dozens of threaded download managers but they will all perform similarly once you hit your download speed limit.
I've never had a problem with getright, there may be better alternatives but not really.

I've used TCPOptimizer to adjust to the largest possible MTU. I didn't really notice any differences.

For a similar reason, compression methods for specific formats exist, and compression that's meant for everything (ZIP, RAR, etc) is usually ineffective or vastly less effective than specialized compression, which is aware of the context.

Cable Nut is the best one out there. Yes it's possible to optimize it. Check out http://www.testmy.net/ for a guide to get the best speed.
