It's been a while since I've done this on a d-link. But you should be able to put one or all of your computers into a DMZ zone which basically means there out side of the firewall. To do this you need to have your machine(s) set to static IPs than go into your router and set each IP you want outside the firewall by putting the IPs into the DMZ area.
__________________I know that probably sounds confusing so I'll try to walk you through it if this is the kind of thing you think might help. Although I'm not going to be able to tell you exactly how to do this with your router (seeing as I don't have either of the ones you do) but I can give you some generic info. Other than that maybe someone else will know, or have your router. Post back if you want the info (sorry but I'm not going to go to the trouble now just to find out it's not what you want).

on the DI-604 its easy. just go into the router menu. Under advanced click dmz and enable it for the ip issued to your pc. ex:my pc is 192.168.0.100 my wife is 101.
If I wanted to enable it for my wife Id change the 100 in the screen shot to 101.

If it's not on a static IP you IP number will change after each reboot. So I would set it/them to a static IP. If this is for a game and you going through two routers to get to the internet you need to open them on both. You will also possibly need to open the ports on any software firewall you may have installed.

Why exactly are you using the second residential router as a NAT? Couldn't you just turn DHCP off on the device, assign it a bogus IP in the 10.x.x.x range, and plug your machines into the local ethernet ports, treating it as a switch?
