Are the ends you're using designed for Cat 6 or for Cat 5e. If they are the wrong ends it will be next to impossible to crimp.
What type of end are you using? There are the generic single piece end or, like in the case of Cat 6, multiple part (with outer metal sleeve) end that are more time consuming.

heres an easy way to slide those pesky cat6/5 cable, remove the sleeve about 2inches. once u have remove the sleeve untangle/ untwist them. once all of them are untwisted. line them all up. then holding the end of the uncut sleeve use ur other hand(thumb and pointing finger slide them outwards. it should straighten out. since we cut it 2inches its too long right? grab the ICE CUBE/RJ45 connector size em up where u should cut them. hope this helps

__________________cat6 cable with cat6 ends. thanks for the pictures. is the color order the same as Cat5e? white-orange, orange, white-green, blue, white-blue, green, white-brown, brown? is it easier for cat5e cable to go into a cat 6 end?

I had the same problem.
__________________The cat6 cable insulation and copper is thicker than the 5e. two choices: - expensive. get cat6 plugs. I think they are accommodate the thicker cable - cheap. strip the insulation a very little - just enough to get it started in the plug but don't do two much that it shorts out the cable next to it. Make sure the cable is very straight and have a lot of patience. Also when you crimp it, you probably have to push down harder. Good luck. It can be done.

As shortfuse stated, the easiest is to strip a bet more of the outer jacket of while lining up the wires and stretch them to straighten them out and get them all lying in a tight straight line; then cut off the excess and slide it into the connector.
