Default pop3 question

I'd like to set up my hotmail account so I can check it on my phone, hotmail only allows pop not imap and I'm wondering if I send a message from my phone, will it show up in the "sent" folder when I check my account on the computer (and vice versa)?

No, if you sent an e-mail from one place, it won't appear in the sent items of the other. A way around this would be BCC yourself into every e-mail you send.

That seems a little silly. If you have imap would it show up?

Don't know, never used IMAP. I prefer having a copy of e-mail on the system for when I need to read it offline.
