I've just recieved a new wireless router, a Linksys WRT54GS. I flashed it to dd-wrt (I have no experience with dd-wrt).
__________________Connected computers: 1 Wired 3 Wireless 1 Wireless Printer My (wired) computer works great. Two wireless ones and the printer are also doing just fine. However, the other wireless computer, is having awful problems. I can connect it to the router, and sometimes even load google. However, going past 1 or 2 pages will cause everything to time out. I've tried every security setting my router is capable of, resetting the winsock and stuff, uninstalling/re-installing generic windows 7 drivers. Nothing has worked. It used to be fine, with a very old Belkin wireless G router. Any ideas? Thanks.

Where the wireless devices getting ip addresses, did you disable encryption, firewalls.Try resetting the router back to default(pinhole on the back) hold that down for 30sec let the lights come back to normal, then power down everything router, modem, and pc's for another 30sec,reboot.Also you could try changing the channel of the router.

Try changing your wireless channel to 1.

Oh man. Disabling the router's "SPI Firewall" worked. Thanks a lot, man.

Did you type in your encryption key(wpa,wpa2,wep) to connect to the network/make a new nework connection? I would try to get the firewall back up and running, check your personal firewall.

Well, I re-enabled the firewall, and it's still OK.
