It's easy. The only hard part is getting the right sized fan (has to be thin). You can then use twist/zip ties to hold the fan steady inside the router.

Oh, btw OP, if you have that fan in, you can actually OC the DD-WRT. It heats it up, but if your fan is working, it shouldn't be a problem. I know people actually put HS's on the chipset to allow for higher OCs.
