Default Something I can download to check for open ports?

I'm on a public wireless connection right now and I was wondering.... Is there something I can download or do to see if there are any open ports?

If you want to check individual ports, just change the port number at the end of this url (utorrent port checker lol):

http://www.utorrent.com/testport?port=3073

I'd just use it to confirm what the other programs said.

I like ShieldsUP a lot considering the way you can specify ports much better than what I've found at other places - how would you otherwise tell it to search ports 25, 80, ports between 1000 and 4000, ports between 4200 and 4400, and then port 8180 and 8531? It's simply 25,80,1000-4000,4200-4400,8180,8531 for ShieldsUP
