Ok. Just did the a antenna mod on my Buffalo G300N. This is only happening on my desktop which has a n card. I cannot access my router, see other computers on the network, or go on the internet from that computer. But I could connect to the access point.
I could see my desktop on the network from my other computers, btw.The router is running dd-wrt and all other devices could connect to it. I get a "The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the Internet is broke" from windows network diagnostics. Thanks for the help. Edit:It just started working again out of no where! Will post back if there are any changes

Does win 7 have a repair feature like vista? If so try that. Are you getting an ip address(ipconfig/all).Can you ping the AP.

Is the ip address 192.168.1.1 your router's ip(I assume) or your pc's ip?Check device manager to see if there is a problem with your wireless nic.And try rebooting your pc.

192.168.1.1 is my routers ip, and I just reinstalled windows, so it narrows the problem down to the router. Could it be the mode the router is operating on? Because when I get 2 bars I get a connection and when I get 4 bars I don't.
