I purchased a wireless router ASUS and it came with a MIR. But when I do a google search on my model number it only came up with the November rebates and I purchased my router on Oct 28 (although the site I purchased from stated there was also a rebate at the time)
Now they're asking me for the invoice number. Would they only read the receipt I mail them or will they directly fetch a copy from the site I purchased from too? Tecnhically the date is only 4 days off from November. Ide really get the code for the October one but I can't find it anywhere at tihs point. |

Usually, there's just a Rebate Center employee who opens up the envelope, checks everything out, and then either accepts it or rejects it based on everything. So, if the new November MIR is used with the receipt dated in October, then it should be rejected.

Where did you purchase it from? Was the rebate provided by them or was it from the ASUS box? If it is from the retailer, then I'd call them up and see if you can get this sorted out. If it is from the ASUS box and the Rebate period is only in November, you may be out of luck. However if the retailer said that there was a rebate and did not mention that it was only in November, they may be willing to refund you. The refund may be for the rebate, however, they may only refund you for your purchase through a return. Best bet is to call the retailer and explain the situation, most will be willing to work with you.
