Every now and then, I'll get an error that pops up saying "Internet Explorer haas encountered a problem and needs to close". I click "Close", but Internet explorer does not close and appears to run fine. I'm also getting this error message when Internet Explorer is not running at all, such as when im playing WoW, which really annoys me because it minimizes my WoW. I've scanned for viruses and tried lowering my firewall, but so far, no luck. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Are you using IE8? Have you tried resetting IE? Go into Internet options, Advanced tab, then hit Reset. I have found that it fixes a lot of stuff when IE8 get nutty.

As said reset it, do you notice what causes it like flash or certain websites?, how about using sfc /scannow to check system files?.

I've tried resetting internet explorer and it still gives me the same problem. I'm going to have to WipeDrive my HDD if this keeps up.
