Default Tomato Firmware

I just installed the latest version of Tomato firmware on my WRT54GS v.2. The upgrade went smoothly and it carried along all my settings from the original Linksys firmware which was great.

Now I just want to configure the firmware to provide maximum performance and the best security. Unfortunately, the creator of Tomato does not provide some sort of help guide explaining all the features and acronyms used in the firmware. I already checked wireless security and that's set up right.

What other settings must I tune for the best performance and security?

Your help is very much appreciated! Thanks!

In my opinion, by just installing the firmware you get the best performance you can get out of the router
and for the security I always used the Personal 2 one, can't remember.. i don't think its something to worry that much about unless...
I let my roomates borrow my router, I could guide you through some stuff but I really can't remember.
and
if you surf through their website you can find all the info you need http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato

What about the firewall? I was looking through the router settings and there's no way to tell whether its enabled or disabled.

I don't really remember if it has a firewall I know DDWRT and Stock Firmware has one, if tomato does have one, it would be enabled by default, computer firewall should be your your priority though, i run Zone alarm, best firewall out there.
