![]() Been like this all day. Can't stay online with any games for more than 20 minutes. Usually I have 0% packet loss, 30ms ping, and 5 ms jitter. I've tried resetting my cable modem multiple times but it didn't help any.

Hmm.. I guess. It's just weird that the Ping is so bad but my DL/UL speeds are the same as always.

Use the command line functions of Tracert or PathPing to see where the slow down is.

I see you reset your modem, but what about your router (if you have one)? Also, have you rebooted your PC?
If you have done these with no help, I would guess they are working on some lines in your area, or are doing some maintenance to their equipment. Asian porn is not likely to cause packet loss or latency issues, IIRC.

You'd be surprised at how many people forget they are torrenting and it's what is killing their connection

I guess it was just a one day thing. It's somewhat back to normal today.
![]() I ran a virus check, rebooted my cable modem, router, and the computer, made sure utorrent wasn't running, etc, etc. Didn't see that post about tracert until today. I pinged google for a baseline and was getting 50-60ms. Then I ran tracert to google.com and theres like 12 steps just to get there. [img] [/img]
