Holy crap dude, that list is huge and I see some programs in there that are spyware. Your should click the "disable all" button. in the startup panel only. The things you want to enable would be ccapp, nvcpl.. and any other program you absolutely must need on startup like... Maybe something like a theme or a chat program. This will increase your frames in games and your startup time dramatically.

If you find a program you want didnt start up search through the list and try to find it. Or you can post here and i'll tell you what one is it.

Then restart and what the speeds increase.... Make sure norton and stuff loads though.

Just a question... Why do you have firefox AND IE open? lol

Go to the Microsoft site and download Microsoft Antispyware. Surprisingly, it works very very well.

That's not a worm... it's spyware. Look at the icon in your taskbar. You just need to run a few scans. You may also need to go into safemode and do a scan.

Just remember, after you remove this, always use firefox =).

Yes.. Delete that IE icon and go into firefox and check the "make this my default browser". The only time you will need IE is for windows update. It should update all your links to firefox's too.

I would use spybot, adaware and get mozilla. Popups like that are just trying to sell spyware programs and I would just ignore them.

i never realised all those start up apps. were unnecessary
i'll get rid of a few.
am running Norton, it has detected 3 viruses up to now, will run again + spyware app, in safe mode when it finishes.

how serious is this, and how can i get rid of it
spybot, and adaware se, have not detected/removed it.
i also found "mssearch.net.exe" in my processes.
I've just visited www.securityerrors.com and got EXACTLY the same screen. I have scanned my PC with 3 different anti-spyware programs and even done a full system virus scan with Norton and none of them picked up anything. That website looks more like an advert for programs. To tell you the truth I've never even heard of the "Anti-Spyware" programs that the page links to.

Bottom Line;
Don't worry about it, it's cobblers. I gurantee that anyone who visits that site will be told that W32.Sinnaka.A@mm (or maybey someone else) has control of their computer.
