I Need To Overclock
hey, i'm new here, i have been looking around to find out what i can over clock and whats the best bang for my buck. i do alot of audio recording on my system, i have it set up as a small home studio. but it's just maxed out. i need something new and don't wanna bust the bank, and seeing as i love to do it myself. i thought why not build my own system and over clock it to get what i want.

Oi! I enjoy music as well and creating it is somewhat of a hobby myself. I am scratching my head trying to figure out just HOW you do it on a PC of that hardware.
__________________ The good news is depending on the core you will be able to OC the crap out of your P4. The downside is you will notice the most performace jump in upgrading the memory.

I suggest building a PC that can ran MacOSX at the same time in dual-boot if you're into audio. Many good mixing programs are only available in OSX, but building that kind of rig can be hard for newcomers. Whatever you chose to do, plenty of people will help you here. Welcome!
