Default Hello New to OC and to overclocking a pc.

Hello new member here, found this place brousing through one of
MSI's pages. New to the whole overclocking pc ideah. I'm starting to build my 1rst project oc pc, running on a tight budget so ive started with,

MSI K8T NEO2 Pro 2000-mhz bus (1000-mhz front, 1000-mhz back)
Kingston 2 x512 pc3200 400-mhz with heat sinks
AMD 64 4000+ 2.2ghz CPU
GeForce 5700 128 (saving for-ATI Radeon x800xt )
Still need to purchase hard drive,cd drive, power supply, Fans, ect, ,ect.

working on custom case made out of aluminum, fiberglass and lexan. Looks like my first attemp at the case is going to be a dud but good experience for the next attempt.
Looks like theres alot of fun things going on in here , hope I learn more things and not mess up my pc to fast gets expensive.
Any tips and tricks appreciated,

screw the amd 4000 unless its san diego. just go ahead and get a 3200 or 3500. those two both clock almost just as high and are way less money

New to oc a pc so still have a lot to learn . So dex you don't think that the
amd 4000 will clock much higher than the 3500 ( take it easy on me new at this ) the 3500 is easier on the pocket ,thanks
