Default What's da story!

Hi folks,

I'd already started posting in the ATI section before I introduced myself- how rude!

Anyways I found these forums after looking around the net to tweak my very first system build to play Crysis.

I'm very much a noob when it comes to overclocking but I'm more than willing to share the bits and pieces I've picked up when building my rig.

Welcome Man . You'll will learn so much about overclocking and more if you hang around here long enough. You can overclock just about anything computer related (except hard drives? and the other obvious stuff). I am looking to overclock my old palm with afterburner soon. Hope you learn a lot and we have a very nice, supporting community here at overclock.net and I hope you enjoy your stay .

It's got acceptable perfomance at Crysis, for me anyway.

All setttings High it runs at 25-32 but that's only 1280 X 1024 with no AA

Shadows Medium, Shaders Medium, Everything else very high, no AA 1280 X 1024 I get around 22 - 28- that looks very nice but gets too choppy when there's alot of action on screen.

I'm fairly happy with it, hopefully ATI can get a little bit more performance out of the drivers and I may be persuaded to crossfire it, if it gives me at least a 30% boost in Crysis and the 2900 drops in price
