Hello everyone;

Like most people posting in this forum, I'm not new to the site, but haven't really posted much. I just got finished with my system. Slowly going to start overclocking.

I lapped my heat sink for the first time. It's all shiny now.

I was too anxious to get started lapping (I was waiting for an 8800gt to arrive from buy.com... I ordered it on the 29th of October and received it on the 30th of November...), so I don't have anything to compare it to.

It idles at 19-23 C, depending on whether or not the heater is on. I'm running a stock e6750, so I'm guessing that there's about a 5 degree improvement.

I'm thinking of lapping the CPU, now that I know it works...

Of course, I should probably start overclocking so I can get a better before and after.

That and I need to replace the stock cooling on my p5n32-e... and on the nx8800gt by MSI.

11,140 marks on futuremark right now... It'd be nice to go above 12000.
