Hey, welcome and good luck with your plans! You might want to tell us your Q6600 stepping, B3 or G0 as it will be a critical detail in order to assist you to push that CPU above 3GHz. And your CPU fan will handle those OCs really well if properly mounted and good thermal paste is applied.
