hah, sorry, its not as exciting as it sounds. Its a term used to refer to people who herd animals for their livelyhood. about 8000 BC people started realizing instead of hunting everything they ate, they could just keep cattle and goats and sheep in pens, and milk them for food, and kill them if they wanted meat. Most people think it came from Asia, who started doing it first. So animal husbandry is the concept of taking care of an animal for long term gains from it, rather then hunting and killing it as soon as you can.

And of course, the obligatory Wikipedia article on it. Its really not up my alley or anything, I just have to have a 15 page paper on it in 48 hours
