How can i start to overclock?

Hey! Great question, glad you could join us. This is the perfect site to kick of your OC. First, I'd suggest filling out your system spec's here so people can help you out easier.

There are plenty of guides around the forum that can take you step by step through OCing your rig. Just head into the AMD or Intel (whichever is applicable) General forums, and you'll find some good stickies with great info.

Right now i have some money my uncle gave me a 200 dollar early christmass present. I was watching newegg had a 8800gt 256 can i get some more info?

Download two tools called: CPUZ and GPUZ and we'll get started from there.

Now that I hear you have a dell build, you might want to check out this thread. In terms of the 8800 GT, its a great performer, and an excellent choice. Peruse the Nvidia section of the forum for more specific answers.

Ok now that you have filled your specs in I see you have AM2 6000? Is that correct? So you most likely have a PCI-E slot on your motherboard. So go ahead and make a thread in the graphics card section.
