Default Dustin here! getting started tonight!
Well i was into overclocking way back in college, i remember oc'ing my amd 400mhz chip and burning it up, i remember when they broke the 1GHZ barrier, anyways, got out of the hardware guru loop for a while, but not out of computers.

I work as a network engineer/system administrator with certifications including CCNA, MCSE, MCSA, A+, Net+, Security+

anyways, i have been out of the desktop hardware loop for years, I work with servers, NAS, routers etc every day but im coming back!

Delivered to me today were my q6600, P5kE mobo, 4GB crucial dominator pc8500 RAM, graphics card, case, the works! I have to tear down my old system and move some data around but i'll be running my boot partition on two 80GB SataII drives in RAID 0 along with two 320GB drives in RAID 1 for data..........at least thats what im planning

I've learned a lot reading up on this board and im sure i'll have some questions as I get going again. Going to build this thing out this evening and let run till the weekend before i start the tinkering!

Well i got the machine up and running, adding some programs, getting it setup etc

asus has some ****ty documentation, not one place in that manual does it say hit CTRL-I to setup raid....lol
