Not to intro myself and just jumped right in the mix. Better to ask forgiveness than permission, if you want to get anything done that is. Well I wouldnt describe myself as a beginner, but I'm no expert either. My first pc was and old P1 at 133 that was given to me. I got the fever, slapped in a 200mmx, and some old, what was that type of ram, ye that one, and started to play move the jumpers. Got it to oc somewhere around 233 and put a pci 64 cg in it and took off with a F-22 flight sim. Kept the case open and just had a desk fan on it . Now about , lets see, 5 mobo and upgrades later, last on that case was a k7 over clocked till the cpu popped like popcorn. Current heater I just put together in July on whatever I could beg or bribe out of my ole lady (made sure I kept a smile on her face haha). I am still tweaking and learning, and mostly watching the prices and the reverb on the new tech out there. Just recently got some good intel on graphics cards and ordered two 5670's. They should take this system over the top until I either fry this puppy or sell the board and cpu and go with a phenom II (when the price is right of course). And hopefully Microsoft will get their s*&^ together and produce a decent 64bit OS. Until then I will stick to tried and true XP. Well let me know if there are any groups or clubs to get into, I am sort of partial to AMD. Great gaming and multitasking chips. Glad to meet you all. Oh, my other pc's are, an acer laptop (1.6dualy w/2gigram) for work, and wifeys laptop is a new hp,dv4 (2.2 amd dualy with 4gig and vista 64) nice.

It's funny. No matter where you go its the same. In the army we separated the bureaucrats (REMF's) from the line dogs with about 600 grams of lead. I will do my best to watch my spelling and grammar so younger eyes will be properly edumacated. Just kidding. And my mother was an English major, go figure.
