Hello friends. I am the Jademinion. You may remember me from such films as "You melted my i7!" and "Attack of the 1000wPSU!". But most importantly I am a brand spanking new OC junkie! I've been building computers for fun since '99 and have built several for friends...but never overclocked

. I am buying parts today and want advice before I click submit, what forum would be the best place to get my possible build rated? Thanks for any help in advance.

I'm trying to spend under 1k. HD space is not very imp. but I will be gaming a lot and doing video processing. Part of my reason for entering the OC space! Can I post specs of what I am thinking here?

Just post your proposed build in the Intel sub-forum or AMD sub-forum (depending on which route you go, of course), in the "General" or "Build Log" section. You're bound to get plenty of great advice.

So total price is $955 for what I hope will be a good OC gaming rig that should last a while. But this is my first try at this so let me know what you think!
