Default Hello from Oregon!

Hey, I'm new here. I recently bought a new computer, which I got to pick the parts for with help from a Technician. I'm a good programmer, but new to Computer Hardware. Already have most of my system specs filled out. Been having a problem with SpeedFan reporting that my 12V Rail is running at 9.94V, so I'm going to bring my Computer into the shop to have it checked out.

How y'all doing?!

As am I

Also, software readings on voltages which are off generally doesn't mean anything.... if your 12v were actually running 9ish v, you would definitely know it! Speedfan is just reading it wrong

If you're really worried, just check it yourself with a DVM

Hmm, so the voltages are probably fine then? I'm gonna have to do some more research as to why it's crashing, then. If I can't find anything, I'll post a question in the proper board.

Thanks for all of the welcomes, guys! I've never felt more welcome to anywhere before!
