Talking New OC'er Just built my first from scratch rig!

Hey Just intro to say hi, I'm from Oklahoma, because im cool like that...

I have worked as a PC tech and computer build tech. I just finished setting up my first fully self-built rig. Oh and just to stir some stuff up I'll go ahead and say Arctic Silver is overrated......

My rig is a budget rig, built for around $200 E5200 2.5 @ 3.33. GA-G41M-ES2L mobo 2Gig 800mhz ram @ 1066. Old celeron d cooler I had I stuck on there with some Dynex 80% Silver Paste. So basically stock. Runs at 55C max load after 30minutes. Umm yeah Hi everyone! Hope to learn alot!

Welcome to Overclock.net!

I see you're going to fit in just fine here, although, I feel the need to defend AS5 TIM. It is a pretty good TIM, however it has a 200 hour curing time so you have to be patient to see the gains from it

Welcome to the forums and like Miki said, it's best if you fill out your PC's specs. It will come in handy when you ask someone to help with the troubleshooting.

Agreed arctic silver is so old now. Use toothpaste and keep it real and fresh.
