Gba_exploader loads gba games from the R4 micro SD, lameboy loads normal game boy games like Pokιmon Blue via the DS.
I've been reading up about a SNES emulator for Nintendo DS and I'm gonna test it with Street Fighter II Turbo.

Yeah, seems to run that game pretty well, trying some others. I also know these can run NES games.

pseudo-bump for new questions (also in first post):
I'm looking at the R4DS and an Ez-Flash 3in1 right now. But what about an M3DS Real with Rumble and GBA expansion pack? The bonus of the M3 Real is the ability to use larger flash memory cards.

CycloDS Evolution - This is the card of choice currently. It has a boatload of standard features along with extras like SDHC and touchscreen support.
EZ Flash V - decent card, most famous for it's built-in integration with its 3-in-1 expansion pack, which enables low-cost gba support. EZ Flash 3-in-1 Expansion Pack - A Slot-2 device that works in conjunction with a Slot-1 device to run Gameboy Advance code. Does not work on its own. Natively supported by the EZ Flash V but you can use it with any Slot-1 card as described in the link. Please read the link before asking questions about it. Revolution For DS (R4DS) - this was "old standby" card, but recent events seem to show it's no longer in production and will have no more firmware updates. Probably best to avoid now. Not mine, copied from another forum.

thanks, I just read some Cyclo DS info.
If I had the money, I would definitely be getting one, but it's about $60 just for the cart, then I need a memory card on top of that... R4 is $40 with a 2gb memory card.

OK I found a CycloDS for about $50 new...
So can anybody who has these two carts (R4 and CycloDS) tell me the difference? I read somewhere that the Cyclo had Action Replay and slow motion, which I guess are cheats of a sort... I also read somewhere that the R4 supported Action Replay, and I'm guessing there is software/homebrew to allow both of these functions...

The AR for R4 is built right in (before you launch your game, you have the option to turn on your choice of cheats). The cheats were updated by means of firmware updates.
I'm assuming that the CycloDS is the same deal.
