we have 2 DS's that can be returned still before the end of the month.....im thinking of returning them to get 2 DSi's. should i do it? the browser might be cool. and the mp3 player would be cool too!!!

Why not keep one DS and return the other for the DSi. The DSi is not backwards compatible with GBA games so you can just use the DS for that and still get to play around with the new features of the DSi.

I think the only reason not to would be if you still wanted to be able to play GBA games.

Hmm. I was not aware of the non backwards compatibility, that puts a hamper on the purchase for me. I play old Final Fantasy Tactics on my DS quite a bit.

In my eyes yes. DSi has all the new features and the only thing missing that the DSlite has is the port for GBA games. So if you don't have any of those, or don't intend to play them then go for the upgrade I say.

I would wait until there is a game that utilizes the new features (storage, camera) solidly. Granted, Nintendo usually has some decent launch titles of their own, I would wait for a bunch of DSi game reviews.

I would pick one up for sure if you dont plan on playing GBA games. Other than that go for it.

Not only GBA games wont work Guitar Hero also wont work. I would upgrade if you can return w/o restock fees.
