So what's your verdict which do you like better do you see any noticeable differences between the two. Besides the camera and different placement of buttons? They both looked to start up the same to.

IIRC the DSi has a faster processor and more ram. Not to mention it has a built in web browser now, no?

It should be a better platform for homebrewers now w/ the extra memory too.

Well for sure the DSi is way faster. The placement of everything is the same but the DSi top screen is just a wee bit bigger.

Also its very thin & has better wireless settings (WPA etc)

The DSi has the same processors (yes 2 of them) and more ram. The Browser you can download from the DS Store..

When you first enter the DSi store they give 1000 points on your account. DSi Browser is free to download & there is some mini games you can download for 200/400 points each

Since the DSi has SD built in you can copy your Downloaded mini games / Music & Pictures into it has backup or to view / Play

Did the sound processor get upgraded in it? I have an AceKard2i and playing mp3s thru my DSlite is meh.

Not sure. I couldn't copy AAC files because my camera is the only SD card reader and windows won't allow to copy AAC files into it (Linux TIME!). That's one thing you don't get with the DSi, USB cable!
