Why ds lite you ask? Because a lot of people are selling them for DSi's. I had a gameboy advance that was stolen so I can take advantage of the backwards computability. And battery life was way more important to me than speed and camera... way more important.

So far I have Final Fantasy FF12, Chrono Trigger(first time playing thru it), and The World Ends With You. RPG overload.

I'm looking for some great games like the ones I use to play on my Super Nintendo. Secret of Mana, tales anything... Zelda- Link to the past. Dragon Warrior is already on the list of must haves.

I've only barely started playing FF12 and so far it's a little to closed in for me. I enjoy the more open feel of the tradition RPG's that my ps3 doesn't have. Maybe it will get better if I give a bit more time.

Dark RPG's like persona is always a huge plus. I know Atlus has one coming out soon that I'm hoping will be decent. I'll stop the ranting now and look forward to seeing the recommendations. I almost picked up pokemon but at the very end decided against it.

Never played that one before. If they ever release 6 that will be an instant buy for sure.

Is it just me or is the stylist really annoying to use? I might consider getting a screen protector that doesn't show finger prints as easy and press down hard on the screen...

Edit: Definitely get a screen protector. The Zagg invisible shield is really good. They have a screen-only one or full protection one. http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/...ns-shields.php

I wish I would have known that why they still had the half off sell. Oh well, got me a great protector for my smart phone. I'll put it in a order for the screen only. My ds shouldn't take anywhere near the amount of abuse my phone does lol.

Yeah, the screen-only protector is good enough. And really, only coverage of the touchscreen is really necessary.

FF6 was released for the GameBoy Advance; and since you have a DS Lite, you have a GBA cartridge slot. So there you go.

The game I have been playing like crazy on my DS is Age of Empires: Age of Kings. It's a turn-based strategy game based on the PC RTS game. Lots of fun, if you're into more than just RPGs anyway.

I have yet to use the stlist or touch screen for much of anything. It is a horrible control scheme compared to the d-pad and buttons that are just sitting right there asking to be used...

Metroid Prime was a badass game. If you like DS FPSs that is. I found the little thumbstrap thing on touchpad works similar to a mouse.
