Problem with WII
ok, so i put in a disc to play a game, and on the remote the hand does not come up. I can only change pages by going side to side, and the home button works. but other than that i can do nothing. Someone please help me.

Do you have any heat sources in front of your tv like a candle or anything? That can mess with the tracking.

it works but the lil hand just doesn't come up. everything else works.There is no hand so I can't pick and game or application.

can you try a classic controller? or a gamecube and see if that works? check youre batteries lol

Try syncing it again. Not just on the Wiimote but also using the sync button on the Wii itself. Also try unplugging the sensor bar and replugging it.

Gotta ask but is your sensor bar facing up or down for whatever reason? And did you resync the remotes using the Wii button and not the Wiimote one?

How far are you standing away from the sensor bar? Sometimes I stand to close and it doesn't work.

sounds like your sensor bar is dead
got a camera or something? if so, open the lcd screen on it/your cell phone and focus it on your sensor bar, if its plugged in and you do not see lights on the sensor bar through the camera, your bar is dead also, it doesnt matter if the bar is upside down or not, the bar is just 4 IR LEDs on each side powered by the plug through the wii, thats it, nothing else.
