Default DS Lite broken - Where to repair?

My songs DS Lite is broken at the hinge, completely broken at the hinge, top screen also no longer works. Where can I get this repaired for cheap enough that it wouldn't be more worthwhile to buy a new one.

I think you should just buy another used one on Craigslist or ebay or look for something refurbished.

Deal Extreme has a bunch of repair/replacement parts for the DS. If it's out of warranty, you could try fixing it yourself. I think the only special tool you'll need is a funky triangle screwdriver that you can also get from them.

I would suggest you to buy a new/used one since fixing your DS will require a lot of knowledge on the inner workings of an DS and if you incorrectly place almost any part will place your DS in a spot you don't want it.I got to learn this the hard way (wanted to replace the case a few months back and DS wouldn't turn on after)

Ok, he'll probably have to do without for a while then, I warned him about taking care of it but I guess that's what happens when you buy a 9 year old a DS lite for Christmas. Maybe he'll get another one for Christmas again, at least shopping for him should be easy again this year
