So we now you can put a vf900 on a 7800gs GPU but if you add a vf900, wich HSI cooler can you mount?

I know the zalman nb47j is able to mount on the hsi, but will a vf900 AND a nb47j fit?

Well my guess is that the best bet is to use a general heatsink with an thermal adhesive. Well then again I am not really sure how a nude 7800GS looks and where the HSI is so maybe I should look into it first.

Ummm we are talking about this.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Speed_Interconnect and your talking about an integrated heatspreader which is the covering on top of the GPU core .. which actually this 7800GS does not have or it doesn't seem that it does in the pics I am checking right now) >> I guess we are on different channels?

My bad. AGP bridges are rarely talked about in the same threads as the VF900. Is the AGP bridge even under the heatsink though? I thought it was off torwards the front of the card.

lol!
it is HSI, the IHS is integrated heatspreader
HSI is a little chip that makes the transformation from pci-e to agp, well not really but just to keep it simple

*edit*
Damn, i'm slow

Ok so which one is your like.. I am guessing liek the first ones but you confirm it.

http://prohardver.hu/html/vga/agp_20...nocooler_b.jpg

If it looks like this well >>?? Ummm I am not sure but I think this is a PCI-E

http://tweakers.net/ext/i.dsp/1132699629.jpg

Anyway I will stick with the adhesive suggestion although looking at it I would go for ceramic. I know the metal/silver ones can take up to 150C but I am not sure about ceramic ones. I will check it right now ^^
