Seems someone had the same idea as I did with the northbridge heatsink XD



He is using something like this http://www.e-shop.gr/show_per.phtml?id=PER.806150. I have this one actually and you can adjust the ummm holes, donno how to say it. Anyway we confirmed the crazy northbridge idea XD

But if you add a nb cooler the the HSI, go for the zalman 47j because it has adjustable mouting holes, visit the installation movie on their site see what i'm talking about

so that means I am not the only crazy person around XD. Ummm the one on the pic is not mine. I have the heatsink thats on the link whcih i think is the one you talk about. Although I can say that much. I regretted buying that damn heatsink cause it took me a long time to adjust is perfectly and now cause of the GPU i had to remove it and put the old one TT

According to this pic:

You should be able to add a vf900 by using 2 holes,
Then you still have lots of room for the HSI, because the black cooler he uses is very large, not high, just large.
So for the HSI I would go for any zalman northbridge cooler, since they have adjustable pins.

I think i'll buy myself a vf-900 and a HSF-47

I'll keep you guys update with the voltmod and the cooling

Hey, I'm about to buy myself a vf-900 this week and a zalman nb cooling for the HSI.
And then VMOD my 7800gs (g71 core).
