i think the as5 will do you awsome decrease in temp, but if your that worried about hte benchmarking you should go out and buy a 6800 gt .....

the as5 will help it a lot youll notice

and a dual fan card cooler would help you a lot aswell

Geforce 6600GT GPU is already pretty flat, I was adding AS5 on it the other day and its just like a mirror. No point in lapping it, not to mention it would kill it.

My GPU idle at 33-35 with ambient of 25C. Its been like this for both the factory heat compound and AS5. But I just applied it yesturday so it might take a while to settle I guess. I cant really tell if there is or is going to be any temperature differencial with AS5, but maybe in a few days the effect will show up.
