Default Cooling Mod on ym TI4800SE

Hey,

I just though i'd post to show you all my Cooling modification, I added my stock AMD Athlon XP 2500+'s Fan to my Cards Stock Heatsink.

Previously I was overclocked to 290/690, now with this mod i'm up to 310/705, and i've not gone as far as I can. I'm not bothered enough, i can run HL2, NFSU2, Doom3, Farcry etc. with good framerates, so i'm not complaining

So what do you all think?? is this good.

To fix the Fan to the card I used a Phone Cable, I cut the plastic coating off, and then used the wires inside. I was in a real hurry coz my previous GPU cooler melted.

Hmm... if you look at the way the fan is placed, the Blades cover the heatsinks fins, this would provide a constant flow of cool air (from my 120mm intake) over those Fins.

Right now i wish i had a temp sensor on my card so i could see what kind of temp difference this made.

I don't know where to get them in AUS but they are quite cheap, a little more than $5 though I would say.
