Sweet, good work. So do you think an accelero could be mounted on an 8800gt? X1 of course. I had one on my 7900gs and loved it.

EDIT- too late, ordered one. I really didn't want to pay $50+ for the hr's. I ordered from svc.com, it was only $18.99, plus I got some extra heatsinks and fans.

I have one and have been promoting it since day 1. I didn't know it worked for 8800 series cards, but...well, keep an eye out for a special made one for 8800 series cooler from AC. Inside word says 5 heatpipes and 3 fans.

There is a fan kit for the S1 called the Turbo Module. I suggest getting it, it is 2x80mm 23cfm fans (56cfm total) which are 100% silent. Work great too, bout 10 dollars!

The S1 I got came with voltage regulator heatsinks aswell

Yes it did, there's actual 2 of them, one is plate looking thing, and the other is a long heatsink. If I had a drimel I could have used the long heatsink and just cut a piece of it off. That would have worked perfect! As for the plate piece, no hope in that. Instead I just used a couple of left over heatsinks from my S2 (added a picture in the first post).

Glad to see another fan boy of the Acceleros. Theres another person on here that used an S2 on his 8800gt. Do you have the turbo fans for the s1?

Edit- So have you tried sticking a fan on there yet Mattngsx? I'll personally take a 120mm over (2) 80mms anyday, but its definately worth a look.

Is it possible to just take out the plastic shell of the card and attach a 120mm fan with zip ties?
