The only problem with using the Accelro, is that you don't get enough heatsinks for the Voltage regulators. The heat sink for the VR is for the ATI cards.

If you have a dremel you can cut one of the VR heat sinks into 3 pieces, and that will work. I would have done it, but I didn't have a dremel. SO i just split an extra heatsink from another Accelero, where I was only using 4 heatsinks.

After futher searching Artic Cooling makes an SLI link specific to use if using an Accelero heatsink, its a 12cm Flexiable SLI connector.

Check out my new thread, I just attached a 120mm fan with zip-ties and there is no rattling or anything.

That is that! Nothing really. There is a long voltage regulator heatsink. Use a hack saw, are a dremel (will take you a minute then) and cut the regulator into 3 pieces. So two cuts. Stick those onto the VR's and thats it.

The rest of the pieces are there (GPU heat sink, and the 8 heatsinks).

There is no other modifications needed, just assemeble as normal.

Was there a massive amount of TIM when you took the stock cooler off?

There was a rediculous amount on mine, removing it and putting on some AS5 cut my temps from about your stock temps to around 36 idle and I have yet to see it exceed 70 load. I also set the fan speed using the Guru3d Rivatuner fan speed guide, but keep it locked at atleast 60% (several hours of Crysis load it at 45 degree's.)

Any one considering after market cooling should try the fan speed and a remount of the stock cooler.

I do have the turbo module. Its really easy to install and wow is it ever silent. Really, I can't tell if its on or off...its that quiet. I suggest it for the S1 for sure. Whether it competes with a 120mm I'm not sure.

I have never bought a more efficient cooler than the S1 it is by far the best GPU heatsink I've ever seen.
