Are asking that you want to connect a fan monitor or controler to the gfx cards fan connector?

it is both a fan monitor and control. it displays the rpm and, if set to auto, adjusts accordingly. it is pretty simple, and has (4) 3pin connecters, which control the gfx card, hdd fan, cpu fan, and case fan. the problem i have is that the gfx fan connector has 2 pins, where the monitor/control unit uses a 3pin.

Ok now that i understand what you want to do there is no need to hook up the gfx fan since it doesnt have a rpm monitor on on it which the controler should have as a reference. Also there is no real need to adjust the fan speed on a gfx card for you want it on full speed, attached to the cards connector, so you can keep the core cool since they do run hot.

But if you still want to have it connected i dont think there is a adapter for the 2 pin-3pin so you would have to make one. Just take the connector off of a regular fan and off the gpu fan attach it to the 3 pin connector to the gfx fan and you are done.

thanks, i didn't really think that the gfx needed to be adjusted, but i thought it senseless to leave one of the conections open. i 'll leve it alone, but plan to hook up the case fans to the controller instead, as i intend to run them at higher rpms. any suggestions as to where to get a 4pin to 3pin converter? i just saw one while browsing, but i can't find it anymore
