I've heard alot of complaints about how the ram sinks are stuck to the board with the product that comes with the HR-03. How are these attached? I know it sounds stupid. But I'm going to have a tube of AS5 for when the cooler actually gets here. But what do I use to attach the ram heat sinks?
Thanks.

I hate bumping as much as the next person, but I'm picking up the cooler tonight, so would like to have everything ready when it comes to that.
Thanks.

They mount with thermal tape AFAIK, so you could either get some more of that or use some Arctic Cooling Arctic Silver Adhesive for a more permanent fixing.
Or, if you want, I've got a guide in a magazine somewhere on how to make your own adhesive version of that using just epoxy and AS5?

Hi, the RAM heatsinks are attached with thermal tape already attached to the HS

Arctic Silver makes AS Alumina. It is basically AS5 mixed with epoxy. I picked some up at frys. The only problem is that it is permanent (you will never get them off), thus voiding any warranties.
Instead, if you dont want the heat sinks to fall off, clean the ram's surface with alcohol, then apply the heatsinks (they have adhesive tape on them). leave them over night on the video card before you install the card.

We all do, unless your like me and awake all night. Plus think about it, when you benchmark with orthos often enough you leave your pc unuseable for 13 hours or more.
