rivatuner vs. ntune with 7900GTX
Well I wanted to crank up the speeds on my card's fan to see if I could drop the temps a bit on my card. I go into ntune and it says my card's fan is running at like 45% for 3D apps, I go into rivatuner and it tells me 2D, low 3D and full 3D are running at 100%? What? lol
__________________So I really don't know what to do with this . . . can't seem to switch rivatuner cause it thinks it's max already, and ntune I can fix, but this is really confusing to me . . . , actually sometimes after hitting apply with ntune it still doesn't fix itself.

If I remember correctly there are 2 different locations for fan control in Riva, one works and one does not. Can you tell by the sound of the fan about how fast it's really running? Ntune is junk, get rid of it.

Uninstall Ntune immediately. I don't know why Nvidia even puts it on their site and hence advocating it's use. It is truly crap. I found out by trial by fire.

alright how do you pull up rivatuner's graph? and no I can't really tell via sound lol, all I hear is my big typhoon and case fans lol

it's telling me that the fan duty cycle is at 60.78%, which is what I set the fan speed to do in 3D mode on ntune . .
