do you think I can oc a 8800GT to be faster than a 8800GT ultra?

I think the Thermalright may work better. Im sure you could get close but the problem is the other things on the video card that arent the same.

Are you asking if with that you can get a 8800GT higher than an Ultra in terms of performance? Make sure that the cooler will fit on a 8800GT first of all, because not all 8800 coolers fit on all models. Also there are some things hurting the 8800GT that will hold it back. The lower bandwidth (256 i believe. Someone please correct me if I am wrong about the term) and there are less stream processors. I can't give you a definitive answer, but it may be able to break an ultra that is on stock with an overclocked GT. its hard to say.

No, you can't beat an Ultra. At most you could match or beat a GTX, but the Ultra already beats the GTX by too much to beat it with a GT. Sorry.
