Hi guys how can i find out the temperature of my 6600gt and what is a good temperature to run it?

right click on you desktop>click on properties>click on settings tab>click on advanced button>click on Nvidia tab> look for temperature settings in the list and click on it. i think the theshold for 6 series is around 135 celsius, but it is probably good to keep it under 80 C.

It is there, it is on the big list on the left hand side, the gigabye card runs hot, I also have it and before I got my Vantec Spectrum PCI fan card it ran at an average of 80-85..Right now I have my card clocked to 555/1050 and it runs at about 65 degrees..

The reg edit to OC 6600s and other NVidia cards that "exclude" the regestry entry for the built in OC softs.

you need to mod the bios for it to show up on most 6600gt's
