Default Safe for 7300LE to run without thermal paste?

Blegh, the sale of my graphics card to a needy friend has forced me back to my 7300LE(don't laught too hard) Would it be safe to run it w/o thermal paste + a passive heatsink for about a week?

Don't run anything without thermal paste.

Yeah it should be okay as long as the heatsink fits tightly with the processor.
If you want, you can try toothpaste as a temporary thermal grease, since it has better thermal conductivity than air.

I would highly advise you not to. That is likely to kill the card pretty quick.

Run it. I have tested a 7300LE running BF2 for hours and it kept on chugging. They dont produce much heat at all.
