Default Accelero S1 Rev 2 installation guide

Hi guys

Well, just purchased the S1 Rev 2 plus the turbo module as recommended by so many. I have read somewhere before that I may need a few bits before attempting to install it. The installation guide that came with the cooler was for Ati cards only, so I wanted to find a good guide for 8800GT before I started to dive into it. Can anyone guide me to such a site, or indeed a thread on this site? I did a quick search, but returned nothing on here.

Thanks for your help.

Well, since no reply on here, I sent ahead and installed the standard way, with no added extra bits, like additional thermal tape. The stock stuff works fine, as long as you leave the memory to dry after cleaning it. There was no voltage regulator heatsinks for the 8800GT, so it is left to be cooled by air only. Hope it won't cause any problems. So far it seems fine. I've OCd the card to 720/1900/1100, and my 3DNark6 score went to above 15k, compared to previous best of 14316, so quite chuffed. Idle GPU core temp 34C, and under load, about 49C. Amazing.

I'll see how it performs in gaming.
