i dont think there are any mods you can do, what about an aftermarket cooler?
http://arcticcooling.com/vga2.php?idx=154 that thing looks like it could handle some serious overclocking.

and @ Derek, i wanna try other things before resorting to buying an aftermarket cooler. Edit: Just added the 92mm Fan to case for better intake. Temps on the GPU didn't really change. Last edited by Slappa : 03-29-08 at 05:26 PM |

How long since you applied to AS5? This thing takes a while to heal, sometimes even a few weeks; or maybe it wasn't applied correctly. Although it seems you know you know what you're doing =)
__________________Maybe it's the heat of your CPU spreading to your GPU... Stock cooler, even on AS5, doesn't help keep your computer cool, especially with a CPU OCed to 3.0...

I actually just did that to my card with a thermal take 80mm fan. I kept the original fan on just for kicks. And I also took off the as5 the previous owner used and put on some ocz freeze. I idle at 45 and load at around 57.
