What's a good aftermarket cooling unit for this?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...559+Video+Card I know some of the aftermarket heatsinks say they're compatible with the 7600GT but I heard the AGP versions are different

the NV/ati silencer series by arctic cooling is awesome, quiet and effective. apparently only the accelero S series fits the newer nvidias, s2 should work well and be nearly silent.
Also, a lot of people swear by the zalman coolers, htough i must say i dont like them.

I have a Zalman VF-700, the all copper one.
__________________I used to have that exact same card in your link. My load temps with the stock cooler were ~95 degrees Celsius. With the VF700, they were around 50 degrees Celcius, and that was with the fan on silent mode. I totally recommend the Zalman VF700 for that card, but make sure you get the all copper one, as it works better than the half aluminum one. P.S. Have you bought that card yet? If not, I suggest you search ebay for an AGP 7600GT that uses DDR3 RAM. The EVGA one uses DDR2 and runs a LOT slower. My 3Dmark score went up 30% when I switched to a 7600GT with DDR3 memory.
