The HR-03 is absolute overkill and a waste of money on a 9600, unless you intend to v-mod the card.

I'd personally go for the Thermaltake DuOrb cooler. I love mine and they work wonderfully.

I wouldn't trade the MSI stock coolers on my 9600s for any aftermarket solutions. The damn things work so well, and the cards run so cool....the first time I have not needed/wanted better GPU cooling. Wow. Saving me money? Thats a first. Thanks MSI

or you could try to arctic cooling Accelero S1 r2. Very good HS/price ratio (and don't buy the add on turbo module, total waste. get a 120mm fan to put on it)

Is there any program I can use to make the 9600GT's default fan spin more? ~_~

Mine is 51C idle and 61C on load.

You can use rivatuner, ati tools and there's a few more out there to change the fan speed. I have that MSI card and I didn't like the whining fan. I threw on an Accelero S1 and 2 120mm zip tie fans and it stay at 34c at low speed and at full speed gaming does not go over 39c lol, overkill
