Default Quick: 8800GTX SLi coolers with PCI slots

I'm going over town sometime this Saturday to grab myself some aftermarket coolers for my 8800GTX's and I need you guys to help me decide whether which one to get...

-Zalman VF1000 with Ramsinks
-ThermalTake Duo Orb

or can you suggest me other ones.

I won't be getting the HR-03 Plus since I need the PCI slots for my Sound card and the third PCI-E slot for my 3rd graphics card (for my 2nd monitor).

Thankz

I have a DUO ORB on both of my GT's and my cores NEVER even see 40c under load playing COD4 or Crysis or any other thing!! These things are AMAZING and cheap for what you get. They are also very attractive wich a nice blue hue to them, they look like little flying saucers

I heard the Duo Orb can't handle the 8800GTX temp and goes over 80~degrees.

Right now I'm leaning forward over the VF1000 but I also heard it had problems with flat solid SLi bridges.

~8800GTX have 2 SLi tabs... it should be alright right?

Get this.
Buy Here when they get in stock

One note: do some research on whether you can fit a sli bridge over that thing.

lol
Some say it's the "overall" (you HR-03 Fanboys) best 8800GTX/Ultra aircooler.

I tried a duo-orb on a 8800GTS and not a single game would run for more than 10-15 mins without it giving out wierd effects on screen and then completely freezing 2 mins later. I tried reseating it twice but it didn't help, so I had to put the stock cooler back on....and I've been hesitant to even try the zalman one because of that.

So if you try the zalman let me know how it works and I might follow suit

The VF1000 and the duorb give very similar temps, but on the 8800GTX using the rh88 heat sink addon, you will get better performance.

I have a VF1000 on my GTS, and I get 48 load at 826Mhz

It doesn't look as cool, though.

Although seeing as I don't even have a window I have a hard time convincing myself it matters.

Duorb on a GTX will not be that great, and the rhs88 will not work with a duorb. go for the vf1000 on a gtx, trust me on this one.
